Ellen Magnarelli Terrien for Town Board for Town of Onondaga 2025

Born and raised in the Town of Geddes, Ellen graduated from West Genesee High School. She attended Le Moyne College graduating with a BA in Political Science. Ellen then moved to Washington, D.C. to continue her education, earning a Masters in Government from Georgetown University. Post Grad she then worked for the Department of Homeland Security, completing a rotational assignment in the U.S. Department of State.

In 2012, Ellen married Paul and moved to Paris, where she learned French and worked in tourism, welcoming their first son, Louis. In 2017, they moved to Boston and had their second son, Nicolas, before returning to Onondaga in 2019. Ellen later earned a Master’s in Teaching from Le Moyne College and became an ENL teacher in the East Syracuse Minoa school district.
